We all have different needs.

 

Figuring out what you actually NEED can be a challenging progress when you do not have the guidance. 

 

Have you ever been in a place where you have wanted to meet your needs and did not know where to start? Or you have been using other things or distractions to do so, and  found it has not benefited you and just wasted your time?

 

You need to stop wasting your time and do the things that will meet your needs. You will probably find that the things you need are free and simple. You do not need to over complicate it.

 

One of the best ways to get your needs met, is by checking in with yourself.  Just like you would a friend or a loved one.

 

Here are 5 questions that you can ask, to check in with yourself.

 

  1. How am I feeling?
  2. What has been going well?
  3. What has not been going well?
  4. What do I need to do differently to move forward?
  5. What have been the lessons from these experiences?

 

 I would really like to encourage you to get into journaling. Take your time and answer these questions and allow your pen to take over, and get into it. This will help you in the journey of self-discovery and excellent self-care.
